This USB3.2 A-Male to B-Male cable is the first Gen 2 Active Optical cable in the market to support Super-speed data transmission relying on hybrid Optical Fiber. Not only does it break the transmission distance barrier of up to 50m, the signal quality is also much more stable, with no RFI/EMI interference. It can support 10Gbps super speed, and meets USB3.2 standard, and downward compatible with USB 2.0/1.1. It is a mature & competitive solution in the high speed data transmission market. It is designed to be compliant with SuperSpeed USB electrical specifications, offering seamless interoperability between existing USB 3.0 hosts, hubs and devices, ensuring a trouble-free plug-and-play experience.

The intended use of this cable is to connect USB huddle cams and/or other USB conference devices, such as webcams or digital conference phones with the operating hardware located far away, e.g. in a separate rack room. These long distances can now be achieved and in combination with the AV connection.

* Note: Most USB devices can be powered by the connected source device and may not require external power. If additional power is needed, a USB-A to micro cable is provided to supply buffer power externally — for high powered commercial USB cameras and devices.
